Dental Check up and Cleans
Strong teeth, health gums and a beautiful smile are supported by having regular Dental check-ups and cleans!
When having your Dental Check-up and Clean you can expect a thorough yet comfortable appointment.

Your Dentist and Dental Team is here to work with you and provide information to care for your mouth.

There are two components to the Appointment:

What to expect
The Check Up
Your Dentist will start with discussing your current health and any concerns you have with your mouth.

They’ll then perform a detailed examination of your mouth for signs of abnormalities.

The teeth and gums are checked for health or any areas of weaknesses.
At the end, your Dentist will walk you through any findings and discuss any recommended treatments.
The Clean
For the last part, your Dental or Dental Hygienist will clean your teeth and gums.
Using modern technologies such as an Ultrasonic Scaler or an Air-Powder Polisher they will remove any plaque, tartar and staining around the teeth and gums.
They will apply a Fluoride Treatment, and your teeth will be sparkling and breath fresh again.
New Patient Dental Check Up
The first appointment for a New Patient is made with a comprehensive approach.
The Check-up and clean will be performed with a Dentist and be scheduled for approximately 40-60 minutes.

You may require additional more detailed and deeper cleaning at subsequent appointments at additional costs.
New Patient Dental Check Up
Our regular patients experience the very best Check-up and Cleans with both their Dentist and Dental Hygienist.
These will be scheduled for 60 minutes.
Additional test/x-rays/scans will be recommended as necessary.
Additional Tests / Radiographs / Scans
Modern Dental Care is evolving very quickly with the aid of digital technologies. Digital X-Ray Sensors significantly reduce radiation levels and newer 3D CBCT X-Rays allow better visualisation of inside your teeth and jaw bone.
Standard Dental Bitewing X-rays are recommended on a minimum of 2 yearly basis and OPG Panoramic X-Rays are taken on a similar basis but at all times only where necessary.
3D Teeth and Jaw Scans using the Intraoral Camera can capture an entire mouth record in just a few minutes and provide valuable treatment planning and diagnostic value.
